Internship Overview
The TMZ DC internship offers an energetic and motivated individual the chance to join the Washington, D.C. team, covering political figures with TMZ's fast-paced, personality-focused reporting. Interns will gain hands-on experience by working closely with seasoned journalists and participating actively in Capitol Hill news coverage. The role demands shooting, editing, and producing engaging digital content while collaborating with Co-Managing Editors.
Internship Details
- Duration: October 2026 to December 2026 (Fall 2026 session)
- Location: Washington, D.C., United States (onsite)
- Work Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week, distributed as at least two shifts of 10 hours each
- Paid Internship: Compensation at $20 per hour
Candidate Requirements
- Availability for the full internship period
- Comfortable appearing on camera with confident and engaging content delivery
- Willingness and physical ability to work in the field, including enduring prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Relevant knowledge in area(s) of interest demonstrated through academic coursework or prior professional/internship experience
- Must be enrolled as a junior or senior in college
