About the Role
This apprenticeship position is designed for a proactive and eager individual to gain practical exposure by working alongside seasoned bank professionals within branch operations. The role focuses on gaining experience in banking sales, Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance, and documentation processes. Apprentice responsibilities include supporting branch staff in sales and customer acquisition, managing customer relations, ensuring branch compliance, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support team members with daily sales activities, document processing, and various operational tasks.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and address queries effectively.
- Acquire knowledge of sales strategies, business goals, bank products, and account opening procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to help achieve monthly targets related to sales, cross-selling, and client acquisition.
- Ensure punctuality by reporting to branch or office on time and maintain discipline and grooming standards.
- Uphold professionalism in interactions with customers and bank executives.
- Comply with internal policies and regulatory guidelines including sales procedures and KYC norms.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be a graduate from a recognized college or university.
- Certifications such as AMFI, NCFM, or IRDA are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Possess strong oral and written communication capabilities.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Effective networking and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain sensitivity towards confidentiality and compliance matters.
- Exhibit a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in sales, operations, or customer service is desired.
- Understanding of banking processes, systems, and regulations is a plus.
