Trainee Officer - Formulation Packaging

Job Overview

Join as a Trainee Officer specializing in formulation packaging at Lupin, based in Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad. This role demands hands-on involvement with daily packaging operations in compliance with validated batch manufacturing records.

Primary Responsibilities

• Carry out daily packaging tasks according to approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Packaging Records (BPR).
• Operate packaging equipment including labeling machines, blister packing machines, and Track and Trace systems correctly and efficiently.
• Adhere strictly to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Maintain cleanliness standards for workspace and machinery.
• Complete online documentation such as BPR and electronic log entries punctually.
• Manage shift manpower by delegating tasks effectively to contract staff.
• Verify packing materials for quality and accuracy before initiating packaging activities.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse team to ensure timely issuance and return of packing materials.
• Develop or revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch documentation as needed.
• Ensure timely execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for equipment.
• Comply with safety protocols including SOPs and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Supervise and mentor operators throughout the packaging process.
• Assist during internal, customer, and regulatory audits by providing necessary support.
• Possess knowledge of sterile injectable packaging procedures.
• Maintain thorough documentation and communicate effectively.

Experience & Education

Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience with a graduation degree in Pharmacy.
