This role plays a crucial part in leading treasury transformation initiatives aligned with our broader Group Finance transformation programme, known as Project Polaris, which runs through 2027 and includes a global Oracle Cloud implementation and finance process centralization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive enhancements and optimization of the group’s in-house bank and virtual account liquidity frameworks.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to define the future state of treasury processes and technological solutions.
  • Identify inefficiencies and control weaknesses in treasury operations and spearhead continuous improvement activities.
  • Oversee strategy, execution, and testing (including user acceptance testing) for treasury systems changes and process updates.
  • Ensure transformation efforts meet governance, risk management, and SOX / ICFR compliance requirements.
  • Lead strategic projects involving treasury management system (TMS) improvement, payment factory capabilities, automation, and forecasting advancements.
  • Collaborate with banking partners, technology teams, and third-party vendors to implement connectivity and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Standardize and embed treasury process improvements for payments, cash management, reconciliations, and reporting across the group.
  • Support treasury integration during acquisitions, market expansions, and organizational changes.
  • Manage operational readiness including training, documentation, governance processes, and post-implementation support.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across Treasury, Finance, Technology, Internal Controls, Audit, and banking partners.
  • Represent treasury interests in transformation governance forums and provide senior stakeholder updates on project progress, risks, and decisions.
  • Mentor and guide junior treasury team members involved in transformation projects.
  • Influence stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and business units to align on strategic treasury objectives.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in treasury, finance transformation, treasury operations, or related finance roles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of treasury functions including cash flow management, banking systems, and payment processes.
  • Proven experience supporting treasury transformation, system implementation, or operational model change programs.
  • Familiarity with treasury systems, payment technology, and banking connectivity solutions.
  • Experience working within SOX / ICFR compliance environments and knowledge of treasury control frameworks.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors in complex programs.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, PMP or similar are advantageous.

Our Offer

  • Flexible working environment supporting work-life balance and personal commitments.
  • Competitive bonus scheme and uncapped holiday allowance.
  • Enhanced pension plans alongside private healthcare and life insurance benefits.
  • Income protection and hybrid working arrangements.
  • Annual self-development fund of €1,000.
  • Opportunity to participate in the company’s Sharesave Scheme.
  • Paid volunteering days and enhanced parental leave benefits.
  • Wellbeing fund (€250 annually), recognition programs, and discounts on gym memberships and vouchers.
