UiPath Test Automation Architect

About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. is seeking a seasoned UiPath Test Automation Architect to lead enterprise-scale test automation initiatives. This role involves defining and governing automation frameworks and strategy using the UiPath Test Suite, alongside driving quality engineering and COE leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable, reusable test automation frameworks leveraging UiPath Test Suite components including Studio, Orchestrator, and Test Manager integrated with CI/CD tools.
• Design test architecture covering UI, API, Database, SAP, ERP, and comprehensive end-to-end business processes.
• Create reusable automation libraries, coding standards, and governance mechanisms to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Integrate automation with DevOps pipelines like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions to support continuous and unattended testing.
• Collaborate across business, QA, development, and enterprise architecture teams to align automation strategies and outcomes.
• Lead and mentor a team of architects, leads, and engineers, establishing competency frameworks and career paths.
• Drive the Test Automation Center of Excellence by defining vision, standards, KPIs, governance policies, and fostering automation adoption across the enterprise.
• Support presales and solutioning efforts including automation assessments and effort estimates.

Required Skills and Experience

• 9 to 20 years of professional experience with proven expertise in UiPath Test Suite components.
• Strong knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, Test Manager, and seamless CI/CD integration.
• Experience with test automation and RPA convergence, including functional, regression, API, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Solid background in designing reusable components, frameworks, and risk-based test design techniques.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, along with version control systems like Git.
• Experience in API testing using Postman or REST Assured and database validations using SQL.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms including SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce is preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills facilitating communication between business, QA, development, and architecture teams.

Additional Information

• Immediate to 45 days joining preferred.
• Job locations include Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Delhi, Noida, and Gurgaon.
• Education: Any Graduate.
• Annual salary range is between 3,000,000 INR and 4,500,000 INR.
