Utilities Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Utilities Engineer to join our team at the Rewari site in Haryana, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and dependable operation of site utilities that sustain manufacturing and continuous production on a large scale. Additionally, the role involves supporting the installation of utility equipment and contributing to the development of the site's utility infrastructure roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing utility-related scopes for capital projects.
• Specify, install, validate, and commission new utility systems at the Rewari manufacturing site.
• Manage the utility lifecycle post-startup, including tasks that ensure maintenance, reliability, and optimal performance.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and internal processes.
• Collaborate with Quality teams to satisfy nutrition and pharmaceutical regulatory demands.
• Identify opportunities to implement process enhancements and share best practices for utility operations.
• Coordinate closely with automation and electrical engineering teams to develop integrated utility solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Possesses a minimum of 7 years’ experience operating within manufacturing plants, ideally regulated cGMP environments.
• Demonstrates strong project management capabilities and is knowledgeable with common project management tools.
• Experienced in working across diverse cultures and skilled at aligning multinational teams.
• Exhibits clear and confident communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Willingness and ability to work full-time onsite at the Rewari facility.
• Preferred: Background in utilities asset management and reliability initiatives.
