Role overview

HSBC is looking for an accomplished marketing leader to join its International Wealth and Premier Banking team in Singapore. The role focuses on building impactful, end-to-end marketing for the Affluent segment, with a particular emphasis on China international customers in China and Singapore and their cross-border wealth requirements between China/Hong Kong and Singapore.

You will help design and execute integrated campaigns that combine online and offline channels, content marketing, and performance measurement to support acquisition, engagement, and conversion outcomes. The position also involves using AI responsibly to improve productivity, personalization, and marketing effectiveness while staying within governance requirements.

What you will do

  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing programs for the Affluent segment, especially China internationalists and their cross-border wealth journey.
  • Build a full-funnel marketing approach using the Prime, Engage, and Convert framework across digital and offline touchpoints.
  • Turn customer needs, behaviours, and journey insights into clear segmentation, messaging, and channel strategies.
  • Run campaigns across China’s social, search, and content platforms.
  • Use AI as a tool and advocate to enhance marketing productivity, personalization, and performance analysis, within approved governance.
  • Define and maintain measurement and reporting standards, while overseeing budgets and vendor/agency planning, selection, and optimization.
  • Partner closely with proposition, sales, product, and global teams to shape ideas, align execution, and ensure strong governance and regulatory compliance.

What we are looking for

  • A strong background in integrated marketing with proven results across digital and offline channels.
  • Evidence of delivering measurable improvements in acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
  • Experience marketing to China international customers and/or cross-border audiences between China and Singapore.
  • Practical knowledge of China social media, search, and content ecosystems.
  • Capability in managing agencies and vendors effectively.
  • A data-led mindset, with the ability to use market intelligence and performance insights to guide strategy.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI in marketing work such as content creation, insight generation, optimization, and reporting.
  • Preferred background in financial services, wealth, or premium segments.
  • Preferred academic background in finance, analytics, or business.
  • Chinese language proficiency is required for this role profile.
