About the Role
TS Qatar Systems and Communications is looking for an experienced Windows, Virtualization & Next-Generation Security Engineer to become a vital part of our Infrastructure & Security division. The selected candidate will manage Windows server environments, virtualization platforms, and cutting-edge endpoint security solutions to enhance our enterprise infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee administration of Windows Server editions 2016, 2019, and 2022, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services.
- Operate and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere (ESXi and vCenter) and/or Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
- Deploy, maintain, and support Next-Generation Antivirus (NGAV) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR) tools including Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Sophos, and Trend Micro.
- Handle backup processes, disaster recovery solutions, storage management, server infrastructure, and performance monitoring to ensure system reliability.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and offer Level 2 and Level 3 infrastructure support to internal teams.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, virtualization technologies, and endpoint security management.
- Proficiency or exposure to backup and disaster recovery solutions is required; PowerShell scripting skills are considered a strong plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical capabilities, and effective communication skills are essential.
- Holding certifications in Microsoft technologies, VMware, and security domains is highly advantageous.
