Team

You will join a cross-functional engineering group made up of frontend and backend specialists. The team owns the complete product lifecycle for the US business, covering discovery, design, delivery, operations, and ongoing improvement.

The platform is mission-critical and runs around the clock in a highly regulated environment where uptime, scalability, resilience, and customer experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce maintainable code and consistently work according to the team’s agreed engineering standards.
• Review code thoughtfully and constructively to reinforce quality, business logic, and respectful collaboration.
• Create automated tests to protect the quality of delivered software.
• Help keep the development and staging environments healthy by finding and resolving pipeline issues.
• Take part in regular team rituals and planning activities.
• Follow incident-handling procedures during normal working hours and on scheduled on-call shifts.
• Contribute to TechDemo sessions and other internal knowledge-sharing activities.
• Use AI-assisted tools such as code completion, test generation, and documentation support to speed up development and reduce repetitive work.
• Carefully assess AI-generated suggestions to ensure they are correct, safe, and maintainable before they reach production.

Profile

The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-focused Computer Science student with practical frontend development experience. You should have worked on responsive, user-friendly web applications and be eager to improve both your technical skills and problem-solving ability.

Technical Requirements

• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Hands-on familiarity with at least one JavaScript framework such as React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Experience using version control tools such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Basic knowledge of TypeScript.
• Basic testing experience with tools such as Jest or React Testing Library.
