SEO Intern (Work From Home)

About the internship

This is a work-from-home internship focused on search engine optimization for a digital marketing agency. The role involves supporting SEO efforts across keyword research, on-page improvements, technical checks, content optimization, off-page support, reporting, and coordination with internal teams.

What you’ll do

• Research search terms and content opportunities that can bring in valuable traffic for the business and its audience.
• Improve on-page elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text, and internal links.
• Help produce and refine SEO-friendly content, including blog articles, landing pages, and product copy.
• Carry out basic technical SEO reviews and spot issues such as broken links, crawl errors, slow page speed, and missing tags.
• Support off-page SEO work through backlink research, outreach list preparation, and competitor backlink review.
• Track keyword positions and organic traffic, then assist in preparing periodic performance summaries.
• Work with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and similar SEO tools to collect and understand data.
• Study competitors and market trends to uncover gaps and growth opportunities.
• Review existing website content and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate with content, marketing, and web development teams to apply SEO best practices.
• Keep up with search algorithm changes and current SEO methods.
• Record tasks, findings, and outcomes clearly and in an organized way.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for a remote internship, able to begin between 7 July 2026 and 11 August 2026, commit to the full 3-month duration, and have relevant skills and interest in SEO.

Stipend

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 15,000 to 45,000.
