The position is designed for a finance professional who can provide dependable accounting support to growing organizations, helping them keep their books accurate and their financial operations running smoothly.

You will work in a flexible remote setting, combining independence, client service, and practical accounting work. The role involves managing bookkeeping, financial reporting, and accounting systems so clients can stay focused on their core goals.

Core accountabilities

• Match client bank statements with records and keep bookkeeping files accurate and up to date.
• Track income and expenses so financial activity is recorded correctly.
• Create financial reports using accounting data and business transactions.
• Complete tax submissions, remittances, and related compliance tasks.
• Help set up, maintain, and improve accounting software tools and workflows.
• Use QuickBooks Online to handle client accounting tasks and reporting.
• Maintain clear documentation and share precise financial information.
• Support accounting needs for both non-profit and for-profit organizations.

Candidate profile

• At least 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• Prior exposure to non-profit accounting is an advantage.
• CPA certification or a similar professional credential is considered a plus.
• Practical experience using QuickBooks Online.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reporting, and general accounting workflows.
• High accuracy and strong attention to detail when handling financial data.
• Good planning, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work without close supervision, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication style and a client-oriented approach.
