Architect CAD & Construction Documentation Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Architect CAD & Construction Documentation Specialist to work remotely on contract. This role involves creating detailed architectural plans, preparing manufacturing documentation, and producing electrical schematics and PCB layouts integral to building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed floor plans and elevation drawings aligned with project needs
• Create comprehensive CAD drawings for architectural and engineering applications
• Produce precise Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) annotations for manufacturing documentation
• Design and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematic diagrams following industry standards
• Develop and review PCB layouts ensuring manufacturability and functionality criteria are met
• Engage in collaborative exchanges to clarify technical requirements and resolve queries
• Deliver complete documentation packages adhering to project timelines and quality benchmarks

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 years of recent experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation
• Proficiency with industry-standard 2D/3D CAD and PCB layout design software
• Skilled in creating and interpreting GD&T callouts and detailed schematic diagrams
• Experienced in crafting multi-sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB layouts within construction projects
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities to manage extensive document sets
• Advanced English communication skills
• Experience working remotely with cross-functional teams is advantageous
