Asset Manager - Mobile Tower Infrastructure

Position Overview

Connexa Limited seeks an experienced Asset Manager to oversee daily operational asset management of our extensive mobile tower infrastructure across New Zealand. This role focuses on maintaining critical mobile connectivity by managing a geographically dispersed portfolio of passive telecom assets.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the asset portfolio and resolve emerging issues
• Coordinate both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks on infrastructure sites
• Lead projects involving repairs, remediation, and lifecycle management
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, landowners, suppliers, and service providers
• Lead operational responses during incidents, outages, and severe weather events, collaborating with Network Operations Centre, customers, and field teams to restore mobile infrastructure swiftly
• Monitor asset performance, identify risks, and oversee costs and progress of delivered work
• Champion continuous improvement in operational asset management processes

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience managing infrastructure assets across large or multiple sites
• Strong stakeholder engagement and supplier relationship management skills
• Experience coordinating maintenance, repairs, and operational programs
• Robust commercial and financial skills, including budgeting and cost monitoring
• Project management expertise with an aptitude for issue resolution
• Background in mission-critical infrastructure sectors such as telecommunications or utilities is advantageous
• Clear communication abilities, especially under pressure during escalations and incidents
• Proactive, accountable mindset focused on continuous improvement
• Availability to participate in an on-call roster and provide after-hours operational support

Additional Information

Experience in mobile telecommunications infrastructure is beneficial but not a requirement. The role requires a calm, practical approach and the ability to lead and coordinate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
