Associate Frontend Software Developer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Frontend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and upkeep of web application interfaces. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver superior software solutions while ensuring smooth frontend integration with backend systems and enhancing overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize web application interfaces and frontend components, enhancing user workflows and overall system usability and performance.
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, reusable frontend elements suitable for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms, adhering to established project guidelines.
• Connect frontend applications with backend services using REST APIs, handling data presentation, form validations, error management, user authentication, and session control.
• Diagnose and resolve frontend issues including browser compatibility and layout defects; support bug fixes during testing phases, user acceptance testing, and after deployment.
• Conduct frontend functional and basic unit testing to ensure features adhere to functional specifications, UI standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Work collaboratively with backend developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, address issues, and support thorough testing processes.
• Engage in code reviews, embrace feedback from senior developers, and comply with coding standards, naming protocols, version control procedures, and development best practices.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, update progress within project management systems, and actively partake in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or closely related disciplines.
• Between 1 to 3 years of experience in frontend development; fresh graduates with solid internship or project work are welcome.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js (or equivalent frontend frameworks), REST API usage, responsive design, Git version control, and basic UI/UX concepts.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and frontend frameworks/libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS; knowledge of mobile-responsive development or React Native is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of authentication technologies including Single Sign-On, Agile methodologies, and cloud-based applications is beneficial.
• Capability to perform frontend testing, problem-solve issues efficiently, contribute to bug resolution, and collaborate well with QA and backend teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, self-directed work ethic, and dedication to meeting deadlines are essential.
• Ability to follow coding conventions, naming practices, version control workflows, and actively contribute to Agile development processes.
