About the Role

Your duties include maintaining and organizing the bakery section, managing stock, and supporting sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for the quality and appearance of bakery items such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensure the bakery department is well-stocked and prepared for daily operations.
• Correctly label and price all bakery products.
• Follow strict cold chain procedures including thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, proper food handling, product rotation, and adherence to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Implement food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness through sanitation and cleaning routines.
• Manage ordering, clearance, pricing adjustments, and labeling accurately.
• Prepare bakery goods by closely following thawing and baking instructions to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
• Secure all product displays safely and correctly.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.35. This rate is also confirmed in French as Le taux horaire minimum pour ce poste débute à 16.35.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
