Role Overview

As a Beauty Advisor, you will provide expert consultations and exceptional customer service across various beauty categories including skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrances, ensuring an elevated luxury retail experience. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets and maintaining impeccable store presentation and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized beauty advice tailored to customer needs, enhancing product understanding and confidence through education on application techniques and benefits.
• Forge strong customer relationships to boost loyalty, repeat business, and overall store performance.
• Consistently achieve individual and store key performance indicators such as sales targets, conversion rates, units per transaction, and average transaction values.
• Stay informed about new product launches, hero SKUs, ingredient details, shade ranges, and prevailing trends within beauty categories.
• Support promotional activities including sampling programs and campaign narratives to engage customers effectively.
• Implement proactive cross-selling strategies by recommending complementary products to improve customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards by ensuring all product displays, testers, shelves, and gondolas meet hygiene and presentation protocols.
• Ensure products are correctly stocked, priced, tagged, and visually appealing in accordance with brand guidelines.
• Assist with visual merchandising changes such as layout updates and seasonal refreshes to keep the store environment fresh and attractive.
• Follow store operating procedures related to grooming, hygiene, and daily operational checklists strictly.
• Support stock control activities including replenishment, expiry monitoring through FIFO/FEFO, and preventing stock shrinkage.
• Contribute to inventory management by assisting with stock counts, shipment verification, and coordinating stock movements.
• Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences, product performance, and competitive insights to inform business decisions.
• Help onboard new team members, sharing product knowledge and service standard expectations to ensure consistent customer experience.

Candidate Qualifications & Skills

• Possess 1 to 3 years of experience within the beauty, cosmetics, skincare, or premium retail industry.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge across multiple beauty categories with a passion for customer consultation and service excellence.
• Exhibit excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse clientele.
• Have an aptitude for understanding customer requirements and suggesting appropriate products to fulfill them.
• Maintain professional grooming standards suitable for luxury retail settings.
• Possess a sales-oriented approach with proven ability to meet KPIs in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Familiarity with makeup application techniques, skincare regimens, and fragrance layering will be considered an advantage.
