Team Overview

We are expanding our Product Engineering & Development team seeking Junior Developers who will engage in both delivery and pre-sales efforts. Opportunities span various technical domains such as custom development, integration/middleware, Curam social program management, DevOps/infrastructure, AI-enhanced development, and Azure cloud engineering. Team members will help design technical solutions and support client engagements alongside senior staff, requiring strong communication and collaborative skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to analysis, design, and implementation of AI-driven and cloud-based client applications.
• Engage in client workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams to document requirements and design solutions.
• Participate in development, integration, testing, and deployment of custom and extended software applications.
• Support application migration and modernization efforts, including assessment and execution.
• Explore and experiment with emerging technologies related to AI, Cloud, and software development to enhance client services.
• Prepare deliverables such as reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Based on specialization, perform duties including coding with Java, .NET, Python, or Node.js; developing APIs and integrations; configuring Merative Curam solutions; supporting DevOps pipelines and cloud deployments; building AI-enabled tools; or developing within Azure cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Familiarity with programming languages like C#, .NET, Java, Python.
• Basic understanding of application development, AI/ML concepts, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and data analysis.
• Experience or exposure to custom software development, API integrations, cloud engineering, or AI-driven solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and effective communication in team settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Software development experience through internships, co-op placements, academic projects, or personal work.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), agile methods, and project management tools.
• Exposure to cloud services and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Demonstrated leadership or teamwork involvement through campus or extracurricular activities.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a salary range of 50000 to 90000 CAD annually, along with eligibility for bonus programs. Deloitte benchmarks salaries regularly to fairly reward individual strengths and contributions.
