Role Overview

We are seeking a Cleaner to join the housekeeping team at the Snowy 2.0 Project in the Snowy Monaro region. The role involves working a 14:7 roster with 10-hour shifts, including rotating day and night duties. You will be a vital member of the housekeeping (Peggy) team, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering clean, tidy rooms with fresh linens, laundered towels, and sanitized showers to provide a relaxing environment for guests
• Maintaining a hygienic and safe work environment across village accommodations
• Cleaning amenities, office buildings, and crib huts
• Supporting logistics by assisting with moving stock and parts around the site
• Flexibly adapting to team and individual work requirements with a positive, proactive attitude
• Managing time effectively to meet scheduled deadlines
• Standing and physical activity for up to 10 hours daily

Required Qualifications and Certifications

• High Risk Work Licence – LF (highly preferred)
• General Construction Induction (White Card)
• Valid driver’s license is advantageous
• Right to work in Australia
• Clearance through medical and criminal history checks
• Current Hepatitis A and B immunizations

The work environment exposes employees to remote and challenging conditions, including extreme cold temperatures. Candidates should be prepared for these physical challenges before applying.
