Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to perform cleaning tasks at residential rental properties. This role involves preparing homes for move-in/move-out, rental turnovers, and ensuring properties are ready for listing with thorough cleaning and inspection.

Key Duties

• Visit residential rental sites to conduct cleaning appointments including move-ins, move-outs, and turnover cleans.
• Perform general residential cleaning in line with company guidelines.
• Clean all key areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, floors, appliances, cabinets, and fixtures.
• Eliminate dust, dirt, garbage, and leftover materials where necessary.
• Wipe down counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and clean inside appliances like refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers.
• Identify areas needing additional cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance or other follow-up actions.
• Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos of the property and completed work.
• Document and submit detailed updates, notes, and images after every visit.
• Interact professionally with landlords, tenants, applicants, and internal team members.
• Adhere to specific instructions, cleaning checklists, property access protocols, and appointment details.

Additional Cleaning Tasks May Include

• Deep cleaning services
• Thorough bathroom and kitchen cleaning
• Detailing of cabinets, drawers, windowsills, and baseboards
• Garbage and light debris removal
• Preparing properties for photo shoots, showings, inspections, or tenant move-ins

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning roles such as housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or residential cleaner.
• Strong understanding of residential cleaning standards and methods.
• Reliable transportation to travel between various properties.
• Possession of necessary cleaning tools and supplies for each appointment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Use of a smartphone with a high-quality camera (e.g., iPhone 13 or equivalent) for photography and video documentation.
• Comfortable in recording clear photos/videos and writing precise notes to report tasks completed.
• Professional, punctual, detail-conscious, and able to follow detailed instructions and checklists.
• Capable of maintaining respectful communication with landlords, tenants, applicants, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning tasks.
• Experience cleaning properties prior to photos, showings, inspections, or tenant move-in.
• Ability to recognize property concerns such as damage, maintenance issues, junk removal needs, pest problems, access difficulties, or unsafe conditions.
• Previous independent fieldwork experience in property management, leasing, cleaning, or home service companies.
