Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Data Manager position in Lucknow. The role focuses on organizing, maintaining, and reporting data across infrastructure, logistics, and plant-related operations. The person in this position will build and manage data systems, improve the accuracy and completeness of records, and establish consistent data entry practices. They will also prepare operational and project reports, monitor key performance indicators, and provide management with useful insights for better decision-making.
Key Duties
- Collect data from project, operations, and finance teams and consolidate it into usable records.
- Design, maintain, and improve databases and related tracking systems.
- Check records for accuracy, completeness, and consistency through routine quality reviews.
- Identify and correct mismatches, missing information, and other data issues.
- Prepare structured reports, summaries, and dashboards for operational and management use.
- Track key performance indicators and support analysis of trends and performance.
- Maintain secure backups, documentation, and organized data archives.
- Recommend better tools, workflows, and practices to strengthen data handling processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely data availability and alignment.
Required Background and Skills
- Ability to work with spreadsheets, databases, and data validation methods.
- Experience preparing reports and documentation in a clear, organized format.
- Strong coordination skills for managing multiple sources, deadlines, and stakeholder needs.
- Working knowledge of data linked to infrastructure, construction, logistics, inventory, fleet usage, or plant operations is an advantage.
- Comfort using MS Excel, database tools, and ERP or other management systems.
- Attention to detail, confidentiality, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Capability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
