About the Role

AVATR Global Design Center is searching for a skilled Detail Designer who thrives at the crossroads of interior design, exterior design, and brand innovation. Join our diverse and experienced international design team based in Munich, where design fuels innovation and boundary-pushing ideas. Key Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D designs supporting innovations, conceptual projects, and production programs.
• Generate broad and forward-thinking design ideas.
• Refine and concentrate these ideas into compelling design solutions that meet specified requirements.
• Draw inspiration from Avatr’s Design DNA and user experience principles.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Interior, Exterior, UX/UI, Communications & Marketing, Studio Engineering, and CAS to deliver practical solutions.
• Focus primarily on automotive interior detail design while occasionally supporting exterior, advanced, or product departments.
• Prepare artistic presentations for senior management.
• Conduct research on trends, innovations in detail design, new technologies, and user-centric experiences.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a bachelor’s degree or higher in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or a similar field.
• Experienced in creative and user-centered ideation, brand-driven design, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Has over four years of experience in automotive detail design or a related discipline, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
• Knowledgeable about detail production and integration techniques.
• Possesses robust 2D and 3D digital design skills, proficient in Photoshop, Blender, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Figma, Alias, VRed, and emerging AI tools is advantageous.
• Capable of three-dimensional thinking, with priority on detail, user experience, refined graphics, and sophisticated form.
• Adept at integrating cultural insights into design attributes.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are welcome.
