Role Overview
We are looking for a committed Dishwasher to aid the kitchen's daily functions and maintain the exceptional standards RH Hospitality is recognized for. The perfect individual will have a passion for quality and consistency and pride themselves on sustaining an immaculate workspace that empowers the team to provide an unparalleled culinary experience. This pivotal role ensures the kitchen's cleanliness and operational efficiency, supporting our culinary team and enhancing guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a spotless kitchen environment, strictly adhering to RH's sanitation and organizational standards at the dish station, ingredient storage areas, waste disposal zones, and all back-of-house sections.
- Efficiently and thoroughly clean all plates, glassware, cutlery, cookware, and utensils to support high-caliber service delivery.
- Develop foundational knowledge of RH's menu items and ingredients to effectively contribute to kitchen support activities.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to assist with food preparation, inventory management, and other cleaning duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in a fast-paced, comprehensive culinary setting.
- Basic understanding of food safety protocols.
- Must possess legal authorization to work within the applying country at the time of application.
- Comply with minimum legal age requirements pertinent to alcohol service, shift work, and kitchen duties as governed by local labor and safety laws.
- Availability to work on weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts as necessary.
Physical Expectations
- Frequently lift and transport up to 25 kilograms employing suitable equipment and methods.
- Able to stand and walk for prolonged durations.
- Commitment to maintaining rigorous safety and cleanliness standards within a commercial kitchen setting.
