About the Company

Job Overview
The Electrical Supervisor will oversee daily electrical maintenance tasks encompassing preventive, corrective, and overhaul activities for all electrical equipment, ensuring maintenance aligns with schedules, HSE practices, and quality benchmarks to guarantee optimal plant performance and equipment reliability.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and lead team members to meet targets and deliver business plans according to established policies, procedures, and systems.
- Allocate resources efficiently for planned preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and significant electrical repairs to optimize equipment functionality and ensure timely project completion, reporting deviations to the Electrical Engineer.
- Diagnose and analyze root causes of faults in electrical equipment to support seamless operations.
- Conduct post-repair testing and validation of electrical equipment to verify readiness and compliance with quality standards.
- Regularly inspect ongoing work of electrical technicians, ensuring adherence to schedules and resource allocation; report any non-compliance to the Electrical Engineer promptly.
- Assist in investigations and specifications for modifying existing systems; support Electrical Engineer with technical specifications, drawings, diagrams, and cost estimations for proposed changes.
- Coordinate planning and execution of annual outages for critical electrical equipment, following OEM recommendations and providing technical support to meet safety, scope, budget, and timeline goals.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive maintenance documentation including logs detailing faults, repair methods, time, labor, and materials for efficient record-keeping.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental policies to safeguard personnel and guarantee environmental standards.
- Oversee the monitoring of materials and spare parts required for electrical maintenance, facilitating procurement to ensure timely and sufficient stock availability.
- Adhere strictly to organizational policies, departmental processes, and maintenance procedures to maintain consistent and high-quality work output.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts by identifying and contributing to change initiatives and projects aligned with company standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
Collaboration
Internally, collaborate closely with Electrical Engineer, technicians, other maintenance teams, and operations personnel. Externally, maintain professional relationships with contractors, SAP, and vendors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Electrical Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance encompassing installation, upkeep, and repair of electrical systems in power generation and water desalination plants.
Technical and Professional Skills
- Comprehensive practical knowledge of relevant plant electrical equipment.
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards along with quality control practices.
- Familiarity with downtime assessment and proficient problem-solving capabilities.
- Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
- Proven skills in mentoring, coaching, and managing teams effectively.
