Role Overview
The role of Sales & Executive Operations Associate involves close collaboration with the General Manager and the VP of Sales. This position balances responsibilities between developing the sales pipeline—through targeted outreach, scheduling meetings, and researching accounts—and supporting the operational functions that ensure the commercial team's smooth workflow, including calendar management, communication, and content creation. This opportunity suits individuals seeking hands-on experience in healthcare sales, startup operations, and AI-driven productivity tools, offering meaningful responsibility from the outset.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting research on hospital and health system targets to identify appropriate clinical and administrative decision-makers.
- Executing tailored outreach strategies via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Securing qualified meetings and generating a strong sales pipeline.
- Managing daily and weekly scheduling, calendar coordination, meeting preparation, and follow-up for senior leadership.
- Assisting with organizing onsite visits, events such as conferences, roadshows, dinners, and client meetings.
- Composing professional communications for partners, advisors, key opinion leaders, prospects, and senior hospital personnel.
- Supporting employee performance tracking and goal management processes.
- Creating and updating sales collateral, presentations, templates, proposals, and internal documentation.
- Facilitating knowledge-sharing initiatives and maintaining internal team documentation.
- Coordinating team-building events and ensuring consistent cross-functional workflows.
- Employing AI tools to enhance efficiency in drafting, researching, summarizing, and organizing daily tasks.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- Minimum two years of experience in business development, sales, or executive/sales operations roles.
- Demonstrated success in booking qualified meetings and building pipeline opportunities.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive mindset comfortable with ambiguity typical of startup settings.
- Strong written communication skills capable of converting notes into clear, actionable messages.
- Genuine interest and willingness to learn about sales, healthcare, artificial intelligence, grant processes, and partnership development.
- Professional demeanor appropriate for engaging with executives, medical professionals, partners, and candidates.
- Proficiency using AI-driven productivity tools to streamline work tasks.
Work Conditions and Compensation
- Full-time employment.
- Located in the New York City metropolitan area, initially remote with plans to transition to hybrid work (one to two days per week onsite).
- Annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000.
