Job Overview
The Executive (Programme) forms an essential part of the Active Ageing Centre team, responsible for designing, executing, and overseeing initiatives that foster active, healthy ageing among seniors aged 60 and above. Reporting directly to the Centre Supervisor, the role spans programme delivery, engagement with the community, and operational assistance, ensuring delivery of quality, person-focused services aligned with five core Active Ageing Programme domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage diverse programmes encompassing Physical, Cognitive, Social, Learning, and Volunteerism domains of Active Ageing.
- Coordinate and run daily sessions such as workshops and community wellness events to support seniors' well-being.
- Identify, liaise with, and ensure quality facilitation by external trainers; provide co-facilitation and backup support when required.
- Assess programme success through participant feedback, attendance analytics, and outcome evaluations.
- Engage in outreach including door-to-door visits, home visits, and community events to connect with isolated seniors and understand their needs.
- Establish and nurture relationships with seniors, families, and community stakeholders to promote services and collaborative efforts.
- Lead volunteer recruitment, training, coordination, and engagement with community and corporate partners to secure support and resources.
- Manage specialized programmes such as Befriending & Buddying, community-driven initiatives, and Information & Referral services to assist seniors effectively.
- Oversee administrative duties like record-keeping in Salesforce CRM, facility operations, logistics, compliance with health directives, and budget monitoring.
- Collaborate extensively with the team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and mentoring junior associates.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology, Community Development, or related disciplines.
- At least 2 to 4 years’ experience in community-based programme coordination or working with elderly populations.
- Strong organizational skills with aptitude for detail and managing multiple programmes simultaneously.
- Competence in data management tools such as Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office suites.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with adaptability and a cooperative team-centric mindset.
- Ability to communicate proficiently in Mandarin and/or local dialects to support diverse senior communities.
Work Location
This position is based onsite at Toa Payoh, Singapore.
