About the Role
Our client is a reputable alternative asset management platform located in Singapore, managing a broad range of institutional investment vehicles for global allocators and sovereign investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the underwriting, structuring, and closure of institutional credit facilities and syndications to support new investments and optimize liabilities.
- Develop strategic fiscal approaches for cross-border capitalization and entity structures, applying multi-jurisdictional tax and financial due diligence insights to shape deal terms.
- Manage legal and operational processes for debt arrangements, coordinating funding drawdowns and closings with external legal advisers.
- Track group leverage risks by assessing debt maturities, interest rate exposures, and covenant compliance, initiating refinancing strategies when necessary.
- Design and oversee group-wide cash pooling systems, funds repatriation routes, and derivative instruments such as swaps and caps to manage interest rate and foreign exchange risks.
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, transaction teams, and legal departments to synchronize capital calls with investment deployment timelines.
- Provide leadership, strategic guidance, and performance oversight to a high-performing corporate finance team.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of corporate finance and treasury experience within Alternative Assets, REITs, or Private Equity Funds.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating term sheets and managing relationships with institutional banking partners.
- Expert knowledge of cross-border holding structures, tax planning, and financial due diligence processes.
- Advanced skills in liquidity forecasting, cash flow optimization, and capital hedging strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities to coordinate effectively with project developers, legal teams, and global financial institutions.
- A detail-focused leader capable of thriving in a fast-paced, transaction-intensive environment.
