About Credibur
Credibur is developing a comprehensive operating platform tailored for non-bank lending by automating the entire debt facility lifecycle—from structuring facilities and setting up special purpose vehicles (SPVs) to portfolio reporting, covenant monitoring, drawdowns, and backup servicing. We collaborate with BNPL providers, factoring firms, SME lenders, and institutional investors such as credit funds and banks, and are supported by leading investors in fintech.
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Founders Associate with emphasis on customer onboarding, product development, and data management. In this role, you will closely partner with our founder and clients to ensure Credibur is effectively implemented, data connections are established, and funding and portfolio reporting functions seamlessly end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with lenders to grasp their portfolio structures and datasets, onboard them to Credibur, and ensure accurate reflection of their debt facilities and portfolios within the platform.
- Manage financial and operational datasets such as loan tapes, repayment schedules, and facility details; create data views, verify data integrity, and aid in automating reporting processes.
- Transform client requirements into clear product specifications, conduct feature testing, and refine internal onboarding workflows.
- Contribute to operational strategy by enhancing project delivery mechanisms including scheduling, communications, and internal coordination.
- Optionally assist with business development and investor relations by providing analytical support and preparing presentation materials.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Prior professional experience through internships or employment in startups, consulting, banking, or data-intensive roles.
- Proficient in handling data, advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets are required; foundational knowledge of SQL or Python is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical mindset with willingness to address intricate details such as data anomalies, special cases, and process inefficiencies to ensure successful implementation.
- Comfortable working in dynamic and less structured settings; capable of taking initiative and ownership without close supervision.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a significant plus.
- Highly self-motivated, with a hands-on approach and eagerness to continuously learn and grow.
Benefits and Culture
- Opportunity to work at an early-stage fintech startup alongside the founder and an experienced team.
- Ability to make a significant impact where your work will directly influence the company’s trajectory.
- Exposure to fintech operations, lending markets, venture capital, and startup scaling dynamics.
- Office located in central Berlin-Mitte with flexible work arrangements.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience along with potential equity options.
Diversity and Inclusion
Credibur values diverse teams and encourages individuals of any gender, age, ethnicity, disability status, sexual orientation, or religion to apply. Even if your qualifications do not perfectly match all criteria, we welcome your application based on your potential and ambition.
