Position Summary

We are seeking a Founding Data Analyst to join our Growth and Operations teams remotely across the US. In this strategic, high-impact role, you will engage in end-to-end data management including data processing, pipeline development, business metric formulation, and operational workflow improvement. This role offers direct collaboration with our founders and cross-department exposure, allowing you to impact critical systems integral to company scaling.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance core data frameworks related to Growth, Revenue, and Operations, including reporting systems, CRM integrations (HubSpot), and analytics infrastructure supporting business decisions.
• Work closely with founders to oversee operational analytics, establishing and monitoring service level agreements across onboarding, support, and billing processes to maintain organizational efficiency.
• Drive workflow automation by partnering with multiple teams to reduce manual tasks, enhance data accuracy, and enable scalable processes across billing, revenue operations, onboarding, and client support areas.

Measures of Success

• Well-documented, validated, and tested data pipelines with reliable source-of-truth datasets accessible to teams.
• Clear definition and consistent monitoring of vital company metrics that influence daily decision-making.
• Reduction in manual reporting tasks and spreadsheet dependencies.
• Accelerated response times to business inquiries across departments.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in analytical disciplines such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative fields with programming experience.
• Between 1 to 3 years of professional experience in data analytics or related system functions.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages commonly used for data tasks, including Python, R, Java, or Scala. High competency in Excel or Google Sheets, especially with financial datasets.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail with the ability to handle complex, imperfect operational data.
• Excellent communication skills and capability to collaborate across multiple teams.
• Knowledge of modern data engineering technologies such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Snowflake, BigQuery, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is highly advantageous, with a readiness to learn new tools swiftly.

Additional Desirable Skills

• Experience working with ETL/ELT platforms and cloud data architectures.
• Familiarity with automation applications (e.g., Zapier, Retool) and CRM software (preferably HubSpot).
• Expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving complex technical ecosystems.
• Background in fintech, startups, or high-growth business environments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual base salary range of $90,000 to $120,000.
• Bonus opportunities of up to 10% of the base salary.
• Equity offering between 0.025% and 0.10% stock options, granting significant potential long-term value as the company scales.

Location and Work Requirements

This role is fully remote but strictly limited to candidates physically residing in the United States. Visa sponsorship may be considered for exceptional applicants located within the US.
