- Translate UI/UX designs into functional components using Tailwind CSS, Radix UI components, and pre-existing style patterns.
- Connect and manage Supabase-based APIs, including server actions and real-time data flows such as listings, enquiries, tracking, and settings, while handling errors robustly.
- Optimize web vitals through image optimization, managing bundle sizes, responsive and mobile-first layouts, and loading states.
- Create accessible components addressing keyboard navigation, ARIA support, and adequate contrast for all workflows.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX teams on workflows, component specifications, and design tokens, proposing practical compromises when needed.
- Engage in code reviews, enforce linting standards, and perform incremental refactors to minimize code duplication and maintain type safety.
- Document complex behaviors and assist in testing critical user paths, such as enquiries, career applications, and showroom features.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in frontend development using React and TypeScript.
- Proficient with Next.js, specifically the App Router, server and client components, routing, and metadata handling.
- Strong skills in CSS and Tailwind with a keen attention to detail to match design guidelines.
- Experience integrating RESTful or RPC APIs, adept at managing loading, error, and empty states effectively.
- Good familiarity with Git workflows and the ability to work within an established codebase maintaining existing design patterns.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Supabase or similar Backend-as-a-Service platforms, including authentication, Row-Level Security (RLS), and edge functions.
- Background in automotive, e-commerce, or CRM/dashboard software products.
- Familiarity with forms management libraries like react-hook-form and validation tools such as Zod, along with accessible modal and dialog components.
- Knowledge of performance profiling and basic SEO techniques targeting marketing pages.
Recruitment Process
- Applicants should submit a CV, portfolio or GitHub repositories, and salary expectations or hourly rates for contract consideration.
- An introductory call will discuss your background, availability, and interest in automotive and dealership software.
- A technical review involving a practical exercise or walkthrough of relevant past work will be conducted.
