Responsibilities

• Transport consignments to a range of customer locations, including major distribution centres, shopping centres, wholesale businesses, and other commercial sites.
• Carry out local and shuttle runs as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Ensure goods are delivered securely and within the required timeframes.
• Complete required pre-start inspections, handle load restraint correctly, and make sure the vehicle is secured properly.
• Comply with strict security standards and site requirements.
• Keep accurate records in the PDA system.

Requirements

• A valid HR licence is mandatory.
• Previous hands-on experience with local deliveries in the Adelaide area.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach with a strong service ethic.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of the Adelaide metropolitan area.
• Ability to work in line with DHL policies and procedures.
• Prepared to provide a current full driving record if asked.
• Willing to complete security screening and a pre-employment medical as part of hiring.
