Role Overview
This position is responsible for leading daily HR operations across the organization and its retail branches. The focus is on keeping HR services running smoothly, staying aligned with company rules and labor requirements, supporting uninterrupted business activity, and continuously improving processes to raise service quality and efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of HR operational tasks in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Prepare and manage HR reports, with a strong emphasis on reporting accuracy and analysis.
- Calculate Saudization ratios and maintain related operational tracking.
- Handle key employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, internal transfers, promotions, organizational changes, and offboarding.
- Keep employee records and HR documents complete, accurate, confidential, and updated in the HR information system.
- Manage attendance, leave, shift schedules, overtime records, and resolve any related discrepancies.
- Check monthly payroll inputs and employee data updates before payroll is processed.
- Administer employee benefits and medical insurance in accordance with company policy.
- Support retail locations and business teams with timely resolution of HR service requests.
- Monitor compliance with HR procedures, internal rules, and applicable labor regulations.
- Analyze operational data and prepare reports to help management make informed decisions.
- Maintain strong data accuracy, confidentiality, and operational control within HR records.
- Lead and support the HR operations team by allocating work, tracking performance, and providing guidance and coaching.
- Look for opportunities to simplify workflows, improve processes, and increase operational efficiency.
- Take part in HR digital transformation and system improvement initiatives.
- Work with other departments to ensure HR services are delivered within agreed service levels.
- Support expansion plans by preparing HR operations for new retail store openings and organizational changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHRi, or CIPD are an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in HR operations.
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role within HR operations.
- Background in retail businesses or multi-branch organizations.
- Strong command of HR operations, process improvement, and service delivery practices.
- Working knowledge of HRIS and ERP platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience in HR reporting.
- Sound understanding of payroll processes and employee administration.
- Good knowledge of labor law and HR compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret operational data and recommend practical improvements.
- Experience handling service level agreements and operational performance measures.
- Leadership, team supervision, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
- Well organized, detail-oriented, able to manage time effectively, and committed to confidentiality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving retail environment.
