  • Draft and issue a broad range of court-related and legal documents.

  • Maintain organized files and records, ensuring all required documents are present.
  • Explain court and unit procedures and provide case/event status updates to the public, judges, attorneys, and litigants.
  • Attend hearings and proceedings, bring relevant files and case information to the judicial officer, note outcomes, and administer oaths.

Job Requirements

  • At least 6 months of experience in document processing and control, including checking records for completeness and consistency with laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures, along with quality assurance.
  • At least 6 months of experience interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • At least 3 years of experience using an automated information system to enter, update, change, delete, retrieve, and report data.
  • At least 6 months of experience writing narrative reports.
  • Knowledge of staff supervision gained through coursework, formal training, employer-provided training, lead worker experience, or direct supervision of staff, including planning, assigning, reviewing, and evaluating work.
