Junior Electrical Engineer

Job Overview

The Junior Electrical Engineer role focuses on supporting the design, coordination, and documentation of Electrical and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems specifically for data center projects. This position operates under the supervision of senior engineering staff and involves preparing engineering calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and reviewing design elements to ensure all adhere to company standards, international codes, local laws, and specific project needs. Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• Applicants who have recently graduated are welcome to apply.
• Preferred but not essential: up to one year of experience in electrical engineering design.
• Internships, university projects, or academic exposure related to building services, electrical power systems, or data center facility design will be advantageous.

Technical Understanding and Skills

• Basic knowledge of Electrical and ELV systems including Medium and Low Voltage networks.
• Familiarity with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and generator systems.
• Power distribution, lighting, and small power systems expertise.
• Understanding of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and building management systems.
• Experience with electrical power monitoring systems and structured cabling is beneficial.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
• Preferred experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit design software.
• Exposure to ETAP, DIALux, or equivalent engineering analysis tools through academic work is viewed positively.
