Role Overview
As a Junior Social Creative, you will generate engaging and attention-grabbing content tailored for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, memes, and more. This role requires quick thinking, spotting cultural moments, and crafting social-first content that resonates authentically with online communities. Your involvement will extend to community engagement, transforming interactions into creative content ideas.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualizing and producing reactive, lo-fi content for TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Monitoring trending topics, formats, and conversations to identify innovative brand engagement opportunities.
- Assisting with content planning for campaigns, product launches, cultural events, and brand activations.
- Crafting concise, impactful copy across formats such as TikTok captions, memes, and scripts.
- Engaging promptly and creatively with comments, tags, mentions, and direct messages.
- Utilizing social listening tools and proactive scrolling to detect audience insights and trend signals.
- Collaborating closely with designers, editors, and fellow creatives for rapid execution of ideas.
- Generating content ideas based on real-time community reactions and engagement patterns.
- Carefully scheduling and publishing posts to maximize timeliness and optimization.
- Contributing to team efforts to maintain high energy and a continuous flow of innovative ideas.
Candidate Profile
- A socially and culturally aware creative individual immersed in social media trends and culture.
- Highly observant, consistently saving and analyzing content ideas while questioning and envisioning new possibilities.
- Excellent understanding of platform-specific content performance and audience preferences.
- Strong, adaptable writing skills appropriate for various tones and social media formats.
- Comfortable with behind-the-scenes content creation such as filming and editing or collaborating with production teams.
- Proactive attitude with confidence in sharing ideas and contributing to discussions.
- Experience interacting with audiences and enhancing brand personality through community management.
- Bonus points for managing a social media account professionally, academically, or personally.
