Role Summary

The Logistics Analyst is a key member of the Supply Chain team and carries two main responsibilities: serving as the main customer service contact for the brewery group while working with multiple wholesalers, and supporting internal logistics analysis across several sales teams. This position helps manage supply chain flow and product delivery by reviewing invoices, shipment progress, and route activity. Strong communication, the ability to handle multiple priorities, inventory management knowledge, and prior customer service experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly beer order fulfillment for wholesaler customers and manage related order processing.
• Keep a close watch on finished goods and raw material inventory levels so stock availability is understood at all times.
• Spot possible shipping delays or inventory-related issues early and take action to reduce disruption.
• Track product movement from origin to delivery using web-based logistics tools and other inventory/shipment monitoring methods.
• Give customers timely, proactive status updates on their orders.
• Review distributor inventory and availability regularly to support shipping decisions and adjustments.
• Maintain the system of record for inventory and order fulfillment data.
• Coordinate with over-the-road and intermodal freight carriers to move goods from brewery warehouses to wholesaler warehouses.
• Request spot pricing from freight carriers for full truckload and less-than-truckload shipments through internal logistics channels when needed.
• Work with distributors and third-party service providers to ensure dunnage is returned efficiently and on time.
• Verify that freight charges are calculated correctly and billed to the customer.
• Look for ways to improve team processes, both proactively and in response to issues.
• Partner with the Warehouse team to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Duvel USA Sales team to support sales execution and maintain strong customer service.
• Work with Production teams across all breweries so production planning aligns with demand.
• Follow standard operating procedures and demonstrate strong customer service practices.
• Handle additional duties and project work as assigned.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is needed.
• Prior experience in logistics management or supply chain management is required.
• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Experience with inventory forecasting and inventory control is expected.
• Background in warehouse shipping and receiving, as well as general freight, is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining excellent attention to detail is important.
• Must be able to work with a team lead and colleagues to meet organizational goals.
• Should be self-directed and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required.
