Position Overview

The Ireland Operations team seeks an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and coordinate a production team during the back-end night shift at the Athenry factory. This role involves setting team goals, managing resources, monitoring performance, and ensuring production targets are met within a 24/7 production environment. Leadership of the production team during a demanding 12-hour night shift schedule is key to success.

Shift Details

• Night shift hours: 7:00pm to 7:00am
• Schedule: Repeating 4 days on/3 days off then 3 days on/4 days off
• Weekend shifts: Friday through Sunday and alternate Thursdays
• Shift premiums: 30% extra on Friday to Sunday, 25% extra on Thursday shifts only

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a high-performance production team aligned with Dexcom’s core behaviors and values.
• Handle personnel issues including performance management and conflict resolution.
• Promote and maintain a culture prioritizing safety and quality within the production area.
• Develop team members to enhance individual growth and organizational benefit.
• Drive achievement of production deliverables as defined collaboratively with leadership.
• Encourage cross-training and continuity planning to reduce production disruptions.
• Ensure adherence to the Dexcom Production System and relevant company and regulatory policies.
• Facilitate resolution of operational challenges and serve as a liaison among shifts, functions, and work areas.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives targeting quality, cost, delivery, and safety enhancements.
• Understand time studies and manage resources for optimal team performance.
• Possess thorough knowledge of financial aspects to inform budgeting and resource allocation.
• Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Support the integration of new products into commercial manufacturing.
• Stay informed on global programs impacting team execution and integrate these into daily operations.
