Multimedia Designer

Position Overview

TAG, a full-service digital marketing agency based in Balaclava, Melbourne, is looking for a Multimedia Designer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves crafting compelling digital content across varied platforms aimed at helping clients communicate effectively and achieve impactful business results.

Key Duties

• Engage with clients and internal teams to clarify creative goals, audience specifics, and project deliverables.
• Create multimedia elements including digital graphics, animations, motion graphics, video components, and interactive materials.
• Conceive and develop visual ideas and creative solutions for digital marketing campaigns, websites, social channels, and promotional projects.
• Utilize professional design and multimedia software to generate both static and animated content.
• Work collaboratively with strategists, designers, developers, and marketing professionals to produce seamless integrated creative outputs.
• Prepare final artwork for production and maintain quality standards throughout the production stages.
• Ensure all creative content complies with client branding guidelines, technical requirements, and campaign goals.
• Propose innovative approaches to enhance user engagement, creative excellence, and campaign effectiveness.
• Keep up to date with new multimedia tools, industry trends, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related fields.
• Proven track record with a strong portfolio showcasing multimedia content production.
• High competency in Adobe Creative Suite tools such as After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Experience in designing content for websites, social media platforms, and online advertising.
• Excellent creative thinking, visual communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple projects with competing deadlines effectively.

Additional Information

The role is located at TAG's head office in Balaclava, Melbourne, Victoria. This is a permanent full-time position offering a salary range from 75,000 to 85,000 AUD annually.
