Job Responsibilities
- Plan manufacturing and procurement workflows to ensure the availability of materials needed for product manufacturing.
- Forecast material requirements for components such as PCBA, RF parts, cables, harnesses, and mechanicals.
- Lead procurement projects across the organization, managing them to successful completion.
- Collect data from research & development and sales teams to build product forecasts and simulate planning scenarios.
- Drive global continuous improvement efforts in planning and distribution processes.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to global operations planning.
- Administer ERP systems and generate database reports to support planning activities.
- Manage inventory quality, perform stock reconciliation, and work to reduce overstock and short-dated stock issues.
- Handle compliance, risk management, and lifecycle issues including End of Life and obsolete items, coordinating with R&D for alternative solutions.
- Maintain rolling forecast plans that include quarterly sales statistics, inbound receiving, safety stock levels, and inventory holding periods.
- Develop and uphold global planning methodologies aligning with company objectives.
- Control stock levels and supply chains efficiently to meet production demands.
- Work collaboratively in a cross-functional set-up with both local and international partners.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage shortages or delays proactively.
- Implement and improve business processes and supporting infrastructures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in a high-technology company.
- Good understanding of operational procedures and processes.
- Experience implementing business processes effectively.
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
Additional Skills and Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Self-driven with an aptitude to influence team members and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret raw data.
- Familiarity with procurement processes is a bonus.
