Position Overview
We are looking for a Payroll Expert (all genders) to join our Human Resources division in Kleinostheim near Frankfurt as soon as possible, working full-time on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle the monthly payroll processing for approximately 500 employees using DATEV LODAS, ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution.
- Take professional responsibility for the entire payroll function and manage all payroll-related processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, governmental authorities, social insurance carriers, and auditors concerning payroll and social security matters.
- Prepare certificates, reports, and HR key figures while collaborating closely with the controlling department, for example, in account reconciliation.
- Manage complex topics such as company pension plans and partial retirement schemes.
- Contribute to M&A projects and ensure payroll integration for newly acquired entities.
- Actively participate in the continuous development and improvement of payroll and HR processes.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial training, preferably supplemented by further education in human resources (e.g., certified HR clerk (IHK)) or payroll accounting, or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in payroll processing, ideally with DATEV LODAS.
- Solid knowledge of payroll tax and social security laws as well as confident use of common MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Independent, structured, and service-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Strong numerical affinity, organizational skills, and a meticulous, detail-focused approach.
- Excellent German and English skills to support effective regional and international collaboration; additional foreign languages are advantageous.
