Role Overview
The People Operations Manager will oversee the entire employee journey — from recruitment and onboarding to daily HR management and culture development. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who enjoys both interpersonal connections and streamlined processes. You will be the central figure for all hiring efforts, employee experience, and operational efficiency, with compensation partly linked to hiring success, company achievements, and key operational targets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting by crafting job listings, sourcing candidates, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and extending offers.
- Lead onboarding procedures to ensure new hires start off positively and effectively.
- Oversee essential HR functions, including maintaining employee records, managing paid time off, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance.
- Foster and sustain a positive company culture through engagement programs, recognition efforts, and organizing team events.
- Monitor and report key workforce metrics such as time-to-fill positions, employee retention rates, and headcount objectives.
- Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries and workplace concerns.
- Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, policy development, and process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Between one and four or more years of professional experience in recruiting, human resources, people operations, or similar roles, or comparable achievements demonstrating capability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ease in interacting with candidates, staff, and executives.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A self-motivated individual who excels in a dynamic, office-based workplace.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Preferred: Experience with HR management systems or applicant tracking software and exposure to small or growing businesses.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary of $60,000.
- Performance bonuses linked to recruitment success, company performance, and individual targets, enabling total earnings between $80,000 and $120,000.
- Full-time, in-office position within a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
