Role Overview
The Planner will oversee preparation of documentation for pre-tender, tender, and post-tender stages, including critical path schedules, project execution plans, workflow charts, and labor histograms. Working closely with site management, the Planner will create detailed contract schedules and project timelines alongside regular progress reporting and evaluation. The role also involves producing short-term look-ahead plans and monitoring subcontractor schedules to ensure seamless integration into the overall construction timeline.
This position offers the chance to join a small, skilled group of planners within Walls Construction, balancing independent work and collaborative efforts across multi-disciplinary teams, while also providing training and technical assistance on planning software and systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a relevant professional qualification, preferably in Engineering or a related field.
- At least five years of experience planning within the construction sector.
- High proficiency with IT tools including planning and programming software.
- Preferred knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication capabilities.
