Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

About the Role

Join a dedicated allied health provider focused on empowerment, independence, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities. LiveBig operates across several Australian states, providing therapy and assessments both in person and via telehealth. We are seeking Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our Sydney team with options for full-time or part-time employment (minimum three days per week).

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a supportive and growth-focused team that values your input.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans and clinical reports for clients with disabilities, relying on sound clinical judgment and best practice standards.
• Keep comprehensive, accurate client records, updating them after each session or interaction.
• Deliver services with cultural, linguistic, and individual sensitivity tailored to clients' needs.
• Coordinate appointments and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Provide support in compliance with relevant legislation and standards, such as NDIS Practice Standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Registered with NDIS as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core registration preferred, or equivalent experience considered).
• Minimum six months experience in a comparable role is ideal.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Current Working With Children Check, Police Check, and NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain them.
• Previous experience with NDIS and community settings is desirable.
