Role Overview
The Program Coordinator position, based on-site in Harare, is a full-time role focused on orchestrating and supporting recruitment and career-focused programs. Responsibilities include planning activities, monitoring timelines, and ensuring that program objectives are fulfilled. Daily duties involve assisting with program development, organizing events and workshops, communicating with employers and job seekers, and keeping thorough records and reports.
This role also requires responding to user inquiries, providing support to platform users, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance program workflows and user experience. Monitoring program metrics, preparing regular status reports, and supporting special projects as needed are also part of the role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven capabilities in program management and development to design, execute, and enhance recruitment and career programs.
- Strong project management skills to effectively coordinate activities, maintain schedules, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities to effectively liaise with employers, candidates, and internal teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Experience in program coordination, project management, recruitment, or workforce development is advantageous.
- Educational background preferably includes a diploma or degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with office productivity software, collaborative online tools, and basic data analysis/reporting is an asset.
