Project Engineer (HVAC) - Data Centre

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of HVAC project coordination and delivery from the initial kickoff stage through to completion.
• Partner with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams to clarify project needs and translate them into workable technical solutions.
• Handle project paperwork such as technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and related documentation.
• Track project timelines, budgets, labor deployment, and workmanship quality to keep delivery on schedule and within cost targets.
• Liaise with stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain smooth execution across all project phases.
• Carry out site checks and address technical or on-site issues that arise during implementation.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, handover activities, and the preparation of final project records.
• Make sure all work meets relevant codes, safety rules, company procedures, quality expectations, and project specifications.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
• Applicants should have about 2 to 5 years of experience in HVAC, ACMV, M&E, or project engineering work.
• Prior exposure to HVAC or mechanical services project management will be an advantage.
• Strong grasp of HVAC systems, engineering drawings, and project documentation is needed.
• The ability to work independently and manage several projects at the same time is important.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is expected; familiarity with BIM or project management tools will be a plus.
• Candidates must be open to travelling to project sites when necessary.
