Role Overview

The Proposal Manager will act as the central coordinator for sales pursuits and proposal creation. Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the full proposal lifecycle for pre-sales work, including planning, project coordination, drafting, editing, and final submission.
  • Handle responses to proactive proposal requests, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, PQQs, and similar business documents.
  • Develop deep knowledge of LinkedIn’s SaaS offerings, including product positioning, messaging, technical and product details, competitive context, methodology, and sales offerings such as Sales Navigator, Learning, and Hiring Solutions.
  • Build strong working relationships with subject matter experts and maintain a shared library of content and knowledge.
  • Act as the main contact for responsive proposal support across multiple time zones.
  • Work with cross-functional teams on creative tasks and projects that may extend beyond familiar subject areas.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of direct experience in pre-sales support or proposal-related work.
  • Availability for an occasional schedule that may include meetings outside standard 9-to-5 hours.
  • Prior exposure to a SaaS environment is preferred.
  • Background in supporting pre-sales, proposal, or bid response processes is preferred.
  • Strong writing and editing ability, with the skill to communicate technical ideas clearly and briefly.
  • Excellent ownership, accuracy, deadline discipline, and a service-focused mindset.
  • Solid judgment and problem-solving ability with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work quickly on urgent timelines and multiple parallel projects.
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office, OneDrive, Google Suite, Adobe InDesign, and MS Dynamics, along with the ability to adapt to new digital tools and workflows.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn products is an advantage.
  • Ability to speak a language other than English is an advantage.
  • Experience with proposal management software is an advantage.
