About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated QA Analyst who is enthusiastic about ensuring high software quality and reliability. This full-time remote position based in Australia focuses on testing web, mobile, and software applications to uncover issues and enhance product performance through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Duties
- Develop, plan, and carry out test cases across web, mobile, and software solutions.
- Conduct various testing types including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory tests.
- Log, monitor, and manage software defects from identification through resolution.
- Confirm that bug fixes and new functionalities comply with quality standards prior to release.
- Work alongside developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the development process.
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation, data sets, and quality reports.
- Contribute to refining QA methodologies, testing approaches, and overall quality assurance processes.
- Help ensure continuous delivery pipelines maintain product reliability and performance.
Candidate Requirements
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and QA best practices.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management software.
- Familiarity with testing concepts for web, mobile, and APIs.
- Exposure to automation testing tools or scripting languages is beneficial.
- Strong analytical aptitude and careful attention to detail.
