Quality Control Engineer

About the Role

Samay Surgical Pvt. Ltd., a company specializing in medical device manufacturing, is seeking a full-time Quality Control Engineer to join their team in Rajkot, Gujarat. This permanent position is designed for freshers ready to begin their career in quality control within the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections throughout various stages: in-process, incoming materials, and final product assessments to verify conformance with design drawings and technical specifications.
• Oversee and maintain calibration records for quality measurement instruments, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Record and manage cleanroom environmental conditions including temperature and humidity in compliance with ISO 13485 guidelines.
• Continuously monitor manufacturing processes to detect defects or deviations promptly.
• Support the Quality Control Manager by maintaining thorough documentation related to inspections and quality activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards and batch release protocols essential to medical device manufacture.
• Competency in operating diverse testing equipment and applying quality control methodologies.
• Basic ability to interpret mechanical drawings and understand product specifications.

Preferred Educational Qualifications

A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline is favored.

Work Schedule and Conditions

The work timings are from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, incorporating a one-hour lunch break. The weekly day off is Wednesday. The role is strictly on-site, necessitating presence at the company location in Rajkot.
