About the Role

Shivanaa Homes, a prominent retailer specializing in home furnishings and decorative items, is seeking a motivated Retail Store Manager. This role involves managing daily store operations, enhancing sales performance, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. The store offers an extensive range of products including curtains, artifacts, crockery, bedding, and other decorative goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell various home furnishing products such as curtains, crockery, artifacts, and bedding.
• Achieve and surpass set sales goals while ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product features, advantages, and pricing.
• Handle visual merchandising duties by organizing and sustaining the store’s layouts and displays.
• Manage inventory control, complete sales transactions, and address customer queries and complaints effectively.
• Collaborate closely with store management to enhance sales strategies and overall store performance.
• Offer informed product recommendations tailored to customer needs.
• Stay informed about current market trends and maintain an up-to-date understanding of products.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in retail sales, preferably within the home furnishings or a related retail sector.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication capabilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong customer orientation with a commitment to high-quality service.
• Basic numerical aptitude and familiarity with operating Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Physical ability to lift and move products as necessary.
