Role overview
Amster Rothstein & Ebenstein LLP is looking for a Scientific Advisor to support its intellectual property practice. This position is centered on technical work that assists attorneys handling patent prosecution, litigation, and opinion matters.
Key responsibilities
The role involves helping with technical issues tied to patent work, including assessments that support patent filing and dispute work. You will also carry out freedom-to-operate reviews and prior-art searches to evaluate patent validity.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or another closely related discipline is required.
- Strong academic performance is expected.
- Excellent analytical, research, writing, and verbal communication abilities are important.
- You should be highly detail-oriented and capable of managing time and priorities effectively.
- Good organizational skills are also essential.

Compensation and workplace
