Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner to become a key member of the expanding Project Controls team. Based in Dublin with a hybrid work setting involving 2–3 days onsite, this role centers on leading planning activities for significant engineering and infrastructure programs throughout their life cycle.
Key Duties
- Take command of all planning and scheduling tasks across complex projects.
- Develop and maintain integrated programs that encompass engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
- Create detailed schedules utilizing Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project tools.
- Conduct and facilitate planning workshops engaging various project stakeholders.
- Track program performance, identifying any scheduling risks or deviations.
- Prepare progress reports and deliver updates to senior management and clients.
- Perform schedule assurance reviews, time impact analyses, and risk assessments related to schedules.
- Develop programs incorporating resource loading and cost loading parameters.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrable experience as a Project Planner with major engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Background in leading planning initiatives and serving as the primary planning liaison.
- Experience within the water sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Thorough knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM), Critical Chain, Resource Leveling, and Earned Value Management techniques.
- Skill in preparing integrated programs covering engineering, procurement, and construction components.
- Capability to analyze program performance and implement necessary corrective measures.
- Proficient in performing schedule assurance reviews, including DCMA standards, risk analyses, and time impact assessments.
- Advanced expertise using Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project software.
